The New Hampshire Insurance Department is hosting a public forum on recent trends in New Hampshire’s health insurance markets with a focus on the small employer market, and a discussion of options for improving access to affordable coverage. This forum is the culmination of research done by actuarial firm Oliver Wyman Associates, on behalf of the NHID. It will take place on Friday, September 6th from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the UNH Franklin Pierce School of Law, 2 White St, Concord, NH 03301.
Experts from Oliver Wyman Associates will present their findings on market trends and the possible causal factors driving those trends. They will also present policy options for improving the small employer market that have been implemented in other states. A panel of New Hampshire industry experts, including leaders from the small employer market, broker industry, and health insurance carriers will then contribute their perspectives with a lively Q&A discussion period to follow.
